Top Tips For Leash Training A Dog

Whether you use a conventional Collar and Lead arrangement, a choker chain or any number of the myriad of different leash/lead combinations out there, a few basic rules can make the process of Leash training a Dog much simpler. See my post on Choker Chain Dog Training for what I recommend. Our Dogs are seldom on the lead because we live in the country and often there is no need, but we have made it a point to still regularly train them on the lead so when the need arises they are easier too handle. Bear in mind this […]

Doggie Delights For The Weekend-Followup

Well, after the chaos that ensued here yesterday with insane winds that left 15 people dead in Spain and 1.5 Million without power in Southern France we obviously didn’t go walking! Here at the Finca we had Olive Trees uprooted, roof tiles flying and general chaos. It was hard to even stand up whilst walking the Dogs! This morning we were a little surprised to find that it was a totally still and cloudless, sunny, and very warm day. It was time for the Doggie Delights For The Weekend challenge! The big hike was back on! It was on with […]

Does Your Dog Twitter?

In the UK this morning Twitter is all over the news. Stephen Fry, Twitter user and all round Super individual appeared on Jonathan Ross yesterday and was talking about Twitter. The news stations have jumped on the bandwagon and are debating it endlessly. Stephen Fry twittered on about Tweeting and micro-blogging and how much he enjoys the interaction that Twitter can bring. It is too easy to forget that there are many ways we may harm or even kill our Dogs unintentionally, or by forgetting some simple rules. Here is a reminder of nine of the  most important things to consider when it comes to Doggie Welfare. Obesity. The number 1 cause of premature death in Dogs is caused by obesity. A New Look For The Three Dog Blog

Well, as you can see things have changed rather dramatically here. As the site has grown I have felt that it was no longer “flowing” very well, so I have gone for a major overhaul. I felt that all the Categories, Links, etc.etc. were just not looking right all squeezed down one side. I still have a little bit more work to do but I think it looks a lot better and I really like the new colour scheme. Can you all let me know what you think. Is it an improvement? Do you prefer the old look? Can […]
