There are certain things all Dog owners should know.
Information abounds on the Internet but it can be misleading at times or just difficult to find. When you search for topics you are bombarded with a huge list of possible resources. This blog has been running for just over three months now and the following is continuing to grow.
There is a decent number of subscribers (don’t forget to subscribe if you haven’t already done so) and more people coming to the site every day. People arrive here looking for all sorts of information related to Dogs or sometimes just for a bit of fun.
The one thing many of you have in common is wanting to know how to do a certain thing when it comes to your Dog.
Dog owners are concerned about how to clean Dogs teeth, the complexities and controversy surrounding Alpha Rolling and choker chain Dog training. But people also like to have a bit of fun. Without doubt the most popular post so far on this site is Doggie Woggie Nickie Namies! A bit of fun and escapism is very important to keeping our sanity when Fido has just done another number 2 on the Kitchen floor.
Hopefully over time the blog will be quite a comprehensive resource for many of the questions you have when it comes to Dog Training and help on many Dog related topics.
Anyway, the point of this post is aimed at you. What do you think is the most important issue when it comes to looking after Dogs?
I want to know what you feel all Dog owners need to know.
I also want to know what you would like to see more information about. Let us all know and maybe I can give some advice or help by addressing the issue here.
May the Doggie Force be with you all.
Wow…only three months? Well, just keep writing these great articles and providing a clear view for us dog lovers!
Hi Justin, thanks for the kind comment.
And I am gad you enjoyed the site. Many thanks.
Hmm, I think all dog owners should know that they need to be dedicated to training their dogs for the dog’s whole life. YOu can’t just teach a dog everything she needs to know in two weeks or even in the first year. I think a lot of dog owners work at training for a short time and then just kind of quit.
Good point Lindsay. It is a lifelong commitment.
I think all dog owners should learn more about canine psychology, which will, in turn, give them a deeper understanding of their behaviors, both good and bad.
