With Christmas truly on it’s way I guess I should do a plug for a Doggie Toy. You can’t neglect them when it’s prezzie time. Dogs love getting something they can have a good old play with so why not get something that will last and may also stop the dogs from chewing up the house. I know that this is a problem for many. Especiall if you have a new dog or a puppy.
How To Stop Dogs From Chewing
It can be a real problem for some. Our solution was to put a bit of oil laced with Tobasco or chilli powder on anything that the dogs started to nibble. This worked extremely well and very quickly. Along with this we got them some great toys that they became attatched to and now play with for hours. Of course if no one is in the house it is still a free for all when it comes to shoes! I guess you can’t win them all and the oil would stain. Hang on …that would be better than no shoes! Hmmmm…

thankfully the 2 dogs I have now are not chewers, but I lost a few pairs of shoes years ago to one that was – you offer some very useful solutions. My former boss once had a beagle that chewed the door moldings and jams in her house – talk about a chewer!
Hi Chris. Thanks for your comment. Faye sounds like your ex bosses beagle. When she was a little younger she ate part of a rendered block wall. Nothing stands in her way!
