We walked through Gooseberry Park in Minnesota, which is a city park but it is several acres and full of paths and trees so you feel like you are away from town, especially on a cold day when no one wants to be out. We did see a few cross country skiers but that is it. It was quiet and relaxing and Ace got to be off leash most of the time. Hey with your encouragement, Ace and I got out for about an hour on Sunday.
