Everyone has heard of 1800petmeds.com. They seem to show up anywhere that we are looking for pet meds. Here in this 1800petmeds review I will be taking a look at just how good their prices really are.

With so many different ways to buy our pets meds nowadays we have mostly come to realise that we can make large savings by buying online. But does the fact that they are such a large company make them the best choice?

Let’s take a look at their prices compared to one of the leading price comparison pet meds sites, Online Pet Meds. This site takes a look around the web and makes a very concerted effort to simply provide you with the best prices for all manner of pet medications by providing you with easy links to the lowest prices for pet meds. Let’s see how they stack up against each other:

Price Comparisons For Pet Meds

It makes sense to compare the most popular pet meds purchased so let us begin with Frontline Plus for Dogs. Here is a price comparison for a six month supply for Dogs weighing between 45-88lbs as part of the 1800petmeds reviews

1800petmeds.com  $88.99

Online Pet Meds       $62.50

So, a saving of over $26 if we use the cheap pet meds source and buy cheap frontline plus for Dogs from them rather than 1800petmeds.com. Frontline Plus is one of the most purchased pet meds so there are surely an awful lot of people who are paying much more than they need to. Both  come with free shipping but the Online Pet Meds store directs you to the most secure online store in the world to make your purchase, so that is another reason to use the lower priced option, it is both lower in price and as secure an ordering process as we can find online.

Price Comparisons For Heartworm Medicines

So let us see how Heartworm Medicines compare. With so many to choose from there is often difficulty knowing which one is the best. The most popular Heartworm Medicine is actually a combination Heartworm Medicine and Flea Treatment, as well as an intestinal worm treatment, in one externally applied solution. It’s name is Advantage Multi, also know as Advocate. Again let us compare prices for a medium to large Dog, in this case a six month supply for Dogs over 55lbs.

1800petmeds.com $99.99

Online Pet Meds       $83

1800petmeds offer free shipping and the cheap Advantage Multi source that we are directed to charges $15 for shipping for a whole year or $50 for a lifetime of free shipping. Even paying the $15 gives us a saving of a few dollars but there is one other very important factor. It can be purchased without a prescription via the special links that Online Pet Meds have. Advantage without prescription saves us a considerable amount of time and trouble so for cheap Advantage for Dogs I certainly recommend Online Pet Meds over 1800petmeds.com.

Of course for many of the other most popular pet meds we may not see such good deals but one thing is certain; it always pays to ensure that you do a few price comparisons before you simply buy your pets meds from what you assume is the best priced resources. I hope this 1800petmeds review has helped you to think about where you buy your pet meds from.

I use HeartGuard for my dog, and a six-month supply is only about $45 from my vet so I don’t think that is too bad. As for Frontline, that seems to be expensive everywhere. Since my pampered dog is mostly indoors, I don’t get too carried away with flea prevention meds. Not to mention, there is snow on the ground six months out of the year here. I just buy three-month doses of BioSpot at the store for about $20. If my lifestyle changes and I need to keep him on it for six months or more, I will definitely be more likely to look for the best deals online.

    Lindsay,

That is a good price from the vets for heartgard. It sounds like Ace doesn’t need much flea protection with weather like that. Brrrr.
